An interesting car with a short history.
In 1909 Bobby Hupp co-founded the Hupp Motor Car Company. With $25,000 obtained at the 1909 Automobile Show they manufactured 500 cars. Production increased to more than 5000 in 1910. The model 20's price was $900.00
Sales and production began to fall even before the depression in 1930. A strategy to make the Hupmobile a larger, more expensive car began with the introduction of an 8 cylinder model followed by the elimination of the 4 cylinder
in 1925.While aiming for a more lucrative market segment Hup turned its back on its established clientele. This was the same mistake made by many other medium priced car makers. In an attempt to capture every possible sale, they offered many different models.
Eventually, no model could be produced in sufficient quantity to achieve economy of scale

Beautiful car, beautiful set. It seems a shame to use it as a rolling billboard. I hope those signs are magnetic

Excellent photographs!
For a bit of trivia, the 1928 Hupmobile is on the back of the old $10.00 bills !
