Cute. "hybrid dog", they mean mixed breed, if so. A hybrid dog would be a cross of two species of canine like wolf-dog or coyote-dog. Similarly, coyote-wolf.

Thank you, I have had 20+ dogs in my 70+ yrs but none of these little ankle biters, mostly coonhounds, mongrels, Britneys, and beagles. My granddad had one that's the one I learned from, he never cared when you came in, but trying to leave he would pitch a fit, I think wanted to feel like he chased you off and wanted the last word.
