Electrolytes helps with conducting nerve impulses. Without it one can run into physical problems .

I have peripheral Neuropathy, thanks for the warning about electrolytes.

The work in the heat was not being well managed if she ended up in critical condition. Hope she is fully recovered. Salt in a critical situation under doctor supervision maybe ok. But for you, me and joe bloggs, eat salty food

I use powdered vitalyte 8 oz 2x daily

I use a product made by hammernutrition.com called HEED. It works well for me and is not too sweet.
