Had a little cabin fever so I dug deep down into the cracks and crevasses of living room furniture and scrounged up enough change to fill the old rust bucket full of gas and headed on down to South Carolina.... This falls was worth the time and gas.

It is a short and very easy hike. I certainly will be back for fall colors and winter.

Thanks everyone for your kind comments, and Rod you can bet that I will be back on those falls this fall. I just hope that it is not crowded when I go, the mountains are extremely busy in the fall. I will be back in the winter as well, there is a small falls on the right side that you can barely pic out in the first photo that will be much more visible in the winter. The trees in the middle of the stream really limit your ability to change perspective in shooting these falls because they will block the view if you move far from where I shot, otherwise I would have gone to the other side of the fallen tree but it from that position the island of trees would have blocked the view of the falls on the right.

Thanks John, and for anyone interested I should have mentioned this in the OP but I used a Haida Rear Lens insert ND filter for these shots. It is a high quality very inexpensive alternative for specific lenses.
