I still have my old Canon FTb. Took lots of photos with it while I was in the Navy (got out in 1980). I have a Vivitar 70-210 lens that I used with it all the time. Also have my Canon TLb, and my Bronica medium format (don't recall the model without digging it out). Not sure why I'm hanging onto them, other than I don't think they're probably worth the trouble to sell.

YOU are being an azz whole. Butt out. Your inability to properly handle your camera is no one elses concern.

FWIW in our high end shop the FTb QL was our best selling intermediate level camera, way beyond Nikkormat. Zero reports of scratching ... our customers were the type that would notice it and come to us about it.

I too has good luck with the camera. It is a bit heavy but took great photos.

It was my first SLR. I lost it by stupidly leaving it in a restaurant. I was too new in photography to be able to evaluate the camera, but it is my sentimental favorite.

I have an almost identical Soligor lens upstairs - with a similar case. I would need an adapter to use it on a modern camera. I think I used a T-adapter with it so I could put it on my Nikon or Miranda.

How far up ? Spare room ? Loft ? Attic ? Enquiring minds need to know !

BTW the OPs lens is auto ... check the pic. So its not T2-mount. Buyers would prefer the OPs auto over an ancient T2 lens. Lets avoid further denigrating the OPs items on offer !!!

If this was my own sell thread I would abandon it and start a fresh one. Too much bad mouthing already. Its a very good kit at an attractive price.
