Sue Jay the horse looks great but the estuary looks a little threatening...are those houses on the other side in trouble?[/quote]

No, not really - they get battered by the winds and high seas sometimes but are actually relatively safe - as long as the seas dont undermine the cliff edge eventually....

Photogrl57 or may I call you Sherrie? Lovely images of a tropical paradise.....you made me laugh with your comment "water level way down".......we are like drowned rats here, and the water has nowhere else to go except flood!

Ann Murray - love the beautiful delicate outline of that tree:0)

Page two:

Wahawk love your second image and your tone mapping techniques - yup they work in sepia!

Clicker 24 - Just love the sweeping fender of that elegant old car:0)

Suejay 50 - I'm so glad you posted a before and after, even if the after is somewhat shocking! Love the lighting in the flooded Taw.......seems we have started all over again here:0(

RR - Is that a paddle steamer? Great shots as usual which lend themselves beautifully to the challenge.

Page three:

More great captures Wahawk.

Mg - I love the peace and serenity of the church, I love more the tenderness in the "Real McCoy" and loving totally the innocence of Sweet Caroline:0)

RR - those bridges are arresting but I really like the broken tree hanging over the river and the reflections.

Rudolf - that is soooooooooooo clever!!! How on earth do you do it?!?

Page 4 - Amyinsparta - beautifully atmospheric

Severum - GREAT CAPTURE! Would love to see it in all it's natural glory.

Nakipie - is that an antiquated water butt? Looks like something out of a Hemmingway novel:0)

Page 5 - DavidK - very arty!

RVDigital - Works well!

jfrank - One from Thursday.......what a centuary ago? Brilliant!

Meo62 - Loving the Liar's Bench!

Charlie - Cool!

Judy Juul - Happy Grands!

Birdguide - we are both newbies! Great lighting on your shells and brilliant show jumping capture

Ricknjudy - Iconic!

hamtrack - Loving the blue "Aslan"

Jjadeco - I wish we had an Arboretum near us........pic no: 5 looks like a tangle of lover's limbs:0)

finsntwister - Wonderful old tractor - again probably looks better in sepia than colour.

GG - love them both

Suejay - that poor old horse is in danger of growing webbed feet:0)

Page 7: Davidk, simply stunning - the bond between man and horse is as great as that between man and dog......or woman in my case!

Page 8 - Sher - I think we are all loving your sepia too!

THANK YOU TO EVERYONE FOR SHARING SUCH BRILLIANT IMAGES:0)
