Mustang guy myself. Had a 1999 GT, manual, stiffer suspension, Cobra throttle body and 3" exhaust from the cat converters back. Car was very quiet for driving in town but it really came to life around 2000 rpm. Photo #1: swapping in a 302 c.i. engine for the original motor is a great choice. Nice fit, not too heavy and loads of OEM and aftermarket parts available.

My 68' Mustang right out of the showroom was a grand total of $2,800. That amount "might" cover the tax on today's new cars.

That GT 350 convertible looks exactly like the one that Richard Rawlings had when he had his "Gas Monkey's Garage" show on TV. He was a character and very enterprising. Does anyone know what became of him? Did he burn out? I really enjoyed his show.
He is now on you tube. still entertaining
