Flowers are the theme for this week’s challenge, but not just any flowers — specifically, black and white flowers. This challenge will not only test your photographic skills, but also your post-production skills.

While flowers may not be the most difficult of subjects, the more challenging aspect this week may be the post-production element, as creating eye-catching black and white imagery isn’t always as easy as it may sound. All too often, converting images to black and white can result in flat, boring photographs.

Well it's 5:30 am on Saturday morning. I just got here. A little late, ok a lot late. But you know, it seems that's how I roll these days. I love the dramatic look of black and white flowers. Everyone here has presented absolute beauties. I loved each and every one of them.
I have a few to share.

This one is Ladies Naked dancing in the rain.

Pg. 19. Lesley the last one grabs me. The lighting makes the photo so dramatic.

A huge "Thank You" to Lesley for hosting yet another fun challenge!

There have been some beautiful images posted so far, and want
to congratulate all those that contributed. Capturing images in
black and white without loosing any detail can be difficult, and
you've all done a great job.

Here are some I hope you enjoy.
Tim

Pg 17. Tim, you've captured some beauties. My favorite is of course the last one. Good job sir.

Thanks Tim. I wasn't sure whether it would work cause it was originally very colorful.

Judy, They're both beautiful in their own right, but I much prefer the lighter of the two.
