Is This a Wood Louse (Sow bug)

This was found in my green beans. It looks like a sow bug but was about 3/4ths of an inch long. Seems way too big for a sow bug. Any ideas?

Please feel free to make any comments.

OMG!!!!! HOLY COW!!!!! THAT is exactly the one. Thank you very much for filling in the blank. I have never seen one before. I DO learn something new, well almost every day. I hope he stays away from my green beans.

Thank you sippy for your kind comment. That is the only one I have ever seen and just that one time. It was like a wood louse on steroids on more of a brownish color. Sorry but my photos did not depict an accurate color but was somewhat close.

Ya did good finding it AND getting a photo for ID. You can put that in your memory folder as a rare find. Good job!

Thank you nature pics for a great comment and for taking a look. Most likely I won't see another one but we'll see.

That seems the ID. Its the larva of the hairstreak butterfly, and of course they are interesting. Many bribe ants to protect them (a bit like aphids). The adult butterfly is tiny and very cute, and you've probably seen them. Here are pictures https://bugguide.net/node/view/579.
The butterfly has an interesting example of a 'false head' mimicry, with showy eye spots and fake antennae on their hind wings. This is to fool birds into pecking at the wrong end. When perched, they will commonly scissor their wings up and down to "wriggle" their fake antennae.

Gosh darn Mark, you know all sort of interesting stuff. Thank you very much for the added information. I will have to keep a look out for more going after my green beans.
