It's a 40's Chevrolet, not sure the exact year. Remember when you could mount a whitewall on a black tire? The right rear tire of this car looks like one of those. Easier to see in download enlarged.

I did a little more homework Stan and came up with this '48. With the exception of the chrome on the fenders it checks all of the boxes. It's definitely a Chevy. The chrome on the side of the hood matches. The windows that you mentioned check. The roofline..fenders..the chrome sills below the windows (visibly removed from our car in question)...they all add up. Take it for what it's worth ;-)
