Why not!

The Frog-actually another one is tightly nestled inside the curve of the handle was hiding there from birds and whatever else eats them. We have a bunch on our property this year-good fortune I think! Taken July 25, 2022. D850, 105G f 2.8 Macro Nikkor lens.

This Chipmunk was fresh from an encounter with a somewhat larger rat. The little chipper ran to me, stopping about a foot from my shoe. Looked at me as I yelled at the damn rat-not my favorite critter. I looked at the Chipper and motioned for it to go in a different direction than the one the rat had chosen. The Chipper came back a few minutes later and did a complete search of the area before proceeding to fill its pouches. It then tried to hide from me and my big camera/lens-Z9 with a Z 100-400 attached. Taken July 23, 2022
