Thank you. I figured as much as I often do the same. For me my backyard might be my neighborhood.

Thank you very much, Mike. Since I don't own a macro lens (I use telephoto lenses for bug-shots), I will take special pride in the title you have conferred upon me.

Thank you for the feedback, Rathayatra.

BTW, as a (non-religious) Hindu and Indian (now US citizen) by birth, I am intrigued by your Hog user name. *The* Ratha yatra is an annual Hindu festival celebrated in eastern Indian states.

Thank you very much, Tom. When I joined this group 4 years ago, I only did vacation and family photography.

May the Hog be with you! 👍

Haribol srsincary Not many people would pick this up but given your heritage and background it had to happen. I have been walking with the Hindu folk on the chariot festivals - my son is a Hare Krsna devotee for over 40 years now he is a talented artist and Painter - he lives in the temple grounds and is a really gifted person and believes since he became a devotee his natural gifts have been enhanced. His Temple is in Scotland and has been in recent years developed across it's 26 Acre plot into an Eco farm with many plaudits from the Local Council. We are very proud of him and pleased he has found his vocation. We visit him and his wife Jagi about 4 or 5 times per year even though it is a 365 mile round trip.

That's a great story, Rathyatra. Many spend their lives looking for their true passion, and often never not find it. It is great that he has found so much fulfillment in his life.

Thank you very much, Chief, for the feedback. While the D500 sensor has fewer pixels than the D7200 (the only other camera I own), I have grown fond of its advanced focusing system even for non-BIFs, and also the ease of using the joystick for moving the focus point around.

Yep, that and the 10 fps when needed. And I love the sound of that quiet shutter!
