I really enjoyed this set Dan. I love the different moods the sky and lighting create that you have captured so well.

The sunset shot and the B/W are my favorites. Keep shooting.
Great shots, especially one and four! Five is also noteworthy, but would like to see a color version.
Great set, Dan. Especially love the last two, a lot of detail in the downloads.
They are all good but #4 is spectacular,ššš.

These photos follow the shrimp boat from dockside to shrimping in open water. The lighting changes through time and orientation. I included a black and white that I think does the subject justice. I hope you enjoy and thanks for looking.
Nice set of images. Images 4 and 5 are outstanding in my book!
Beautiful set, Dan! I am surprised that there are so few birds around those boats.
Great series. Love the last one.
Great set Dan. I love #4 and #5!
Great story here, Dan. The various treatments each serve their purpose in adding to the story. I think the feeling of the humidity, the expansive loneliness of the Gulf, and the tension of the load on the taut lines pulling that massive net in the B& W all add up to a day well spent documenting a day in the life. Personally, Iām reminded of my days as a grade schooler in Houma, La. I can still smell that bayou shrimping town, and feel the thick humid air.
I appreciate your low contrast treatment of the B & W it opens up detail that would have been obliterated in a hi-con/noir rendition. Well done!
