Just purchased a Sigma 18-35mm Art lens from KEH. The price was great as was the quality and the service. My new lens appears to be brand new. It tested perfectly and I highly recommend KEH.

I’ve bought a bunch of used lenses on eBay. Do your homework on what they should cost. Figure out the maximum you want to pay. Use sellers that have close to 100% ratings. Don’t buy if they say “ no returns. Expect perfect glass, no scratches. No dust. No fungus. On auctioned items, figure out the maximum you want to bid onanitemand bid that number when there are less than 30 seconds to go. You will have to bid twice on that amount. EBay will advance the bid on the other bidders by small increments until no one bids against the final bid. Waiting until the last few seconds cuts off most counter bids. Of you are $50 over the existing bid, you may get the item for only a few dollars of your $50 bid. I don’t think I have ever got a bad lens following these guidelines. They have been excellent , beautiful lenses for a fraction of new cost. I have also bought off of UHH with similar results. I have bought around 15-20 lenses like this. The only lens I have ever sent back was an 18-400 Tamron. Wouldn’t focus at 400 meters. Sent it back and ordered a used one which worked perfectly.
I have one in very nice condition. If you are interested you may email me at chashans@gmail.com

Does anyone have any experience purchasing pre-owned lenses from B&H or Adorama? I have been eyeing a Canon 70-300mm L-series, but now production is discontinued and I can’t locate it new anywhere.
I have one I used for a month or so. Mostly on a trip to Galápagos Islands. When I returned I bought a 100-400mm which wasn’t available for my trip.
I’d be happy to sell it for a fair price.
I have this lens tucked away and never use it. If you’re interested let me know.

I do have a 70-300 L lens which is scuffed up some as it was when I bought it. I bought it at a bargain price. Perfect glass and function, clear sharp images. I’ll check what I paid for it and would sell it. I have a canon70-300, a Tamron 70-300, a Canon 100-400L And a Tamron 18-400. That is why I would sell the 70-300L. A bunch are for sale on eBay.I would take $550 for mine. There are some paint scuffs. It does not look new. Works perfectly.

I have purchased several used and refurbished lenses and other Nikon accessories from B&H Photo. Have never had an issue. You can even contact the used department. And ask them to describe the item. Plus I have visited there New York super store a couple of times. Everyone I spoke with, Was very Polite, friendly and Knowledgeable. Plus customer service wise, they are fantastic. They show great care in everything they do. You can't go wrong!! Best of luck in your purchase.
