IMHO the flower itself has too many distracting elements. How about just the blossom?

Have you tried a 3:2 crop? You can see the thorns extending to the right of the bloom.
A magnificent floral composition, both light and color amazing 🟡💛✨💛🟡
Best crop is from GMR, but personally, I like #1, uncropped, the best of them all.

I think #3 is the better composition. As for the yellow in the upper left, I would use some PS tricks to either eliminate it or send it far into the background, just MHO
This was manually cropped in Picasa.

I would like an opinion on how I cropped the attached photos. #1 is the uncropped original. #2 was cropped to exclude the blossom in the upper left corner. It looks to be cropped a little too tight to me. In #3 I left a little of the blossom in the upper left corner. It allowed a little more room around the edges of the picture.
Obviously, the distracting element in the photo is the flower in the upper left corner. Cropping the photo is the way to eliminate that problem and photos #2 and #3 solve it. However, photo #3 tightens your main subject and photo #2 is the best composition for me. What you can do is remove the little glow from the flower in the upper left corner with Photoshop or other software.

I only use Picasa. Haven't invested in Photoshop or any of the other editing programs.

If you prefer to crop only, not do any clone/cover of the upper left yellow, may I post a cropping option that leaves more breathing room along the sides, though the top and bottom edges do get tighter?

Have at it. I like the 3rd shot except for the small portion of the other blossom in the upper left corner. There is sufficient room around the rest of the photo.

(1.) Using the straighten tool to rotate your original clockwise about 8-9 degrees, then cropping the two upper corners down and in, as needed,
(2.) If there is still too much yellow in the upper left, rotating your original about 11-12 degrees, then cropping down and in from the upper corners can pretty much eliminate the yellow,
If these do not interest you, no offence taken, it's just a dustie idea from the puckerbrush.
(1.) can give something like this.
(2.) but top and bottom end up very tight.
