Not a photography problem, but I am seeking help from UHHers. I am getting odd e-mails, where the subject is often gone and instead I am getting pages of gibberish: numbers, letters, symbols some phrases, pages long in some cases. contacted my e-mail provide, the person I spoke with was not much help and offered no clue as to what was going on. Any ideas? Thanks in advance for your help.

Not all of the e-mails sent have this problem. It happens with e-mails sent by phone and send by computer. By different sources.

No, they can be from individuals or companies. Not all of the e-mails have this problem.

I’ve been receiving them recently also. When the email shows in the list, it has a weird looking font. I delete them without opening them.

I use two email clients, and the Spectrum/Charter gets those almost every day. I just delete them, and don't respond to any of them.

I have noticed a large increase in spam emails, especially with links to click on because I won something! I just delete them.

1t could be a virus. Have you checked with a reputable technician? If you use Microsoft, call Support. I use Webroot, but, be careful..there are imitators.

I subscribe to a birding email list and every once in a while a message gets posted that is nothing but gibberish. Don't know if is the sender's means of sending (phone, laptop, etc.) but suspect it is. I have never checked to see if it is from the same person, but I suspect that it is.
