Great photos. You nailed it when you labeled Maine as a photographers paradise.
kind thanks, I think one can shoot hundreds of shots there everyday! So many great little towns plus Acadia National Park! Unless you like coffee mugs, sweatshirt and t shirt shops, I found the village of Bar Harbor a little too touristy for me. I usually enjoy shooting in the streets of nice little towns, and I don't think I shot more than 4-5 shots while walking through Bar Harbor. However, the coast walk area next to the town is beautiful.
Pictures brought back many memories, lived 30 yrs in Orono, Me. Wife and I tried to name each place. Great shots
Thanks! The bridge is the Deer Isle Bridge, a suspension bridge spanning Eggemoggin Reach. The bridge is the only vehicular connection from the Maine mainland to Little Deer Isle, one of the segments that make up the island. Other shots were from Castine, Portland, and Stonington Harbor
thanks so much! Liking a lot of your work on flickr, and BTW, we're both '41 babies, I read your bio Vince
Thank you for the kind comment Vince. I must have made a boo boo somewhere in Flickr. People even mistake me for 60 y/o but I am a '37 baby. Glad you brought that to my attention. I'll need to go back in and correct that. I didn't take time to check out a lot of yours but you do some beautiful work!!! I'll check out more when I have more time.
