Like the feet in the 1st photo and miss them in the 2nd shot. Agree that you might want to crop out some of the vertical area above your head. Keep going, you're good.

Well young lady. This is the the second day of your post and you are still receiving nice compliments. Now there are some really good photographers here that post some very nice studio and non-studio images and I saw where you
are kinda new here and you are very welcomed to be here. Not just in the nude thread but anywhere on UHH.
I think you add a very nice life as it is perspective in this post but others you have done too. This is a welcome addition to the world of photography which, to me, embraces all aspects of our human experience.
Please continue to contribute, there are not enough ladies on this site in all thread topics including this particular one.
My nickels worth of thoughts to you today.
Sincerely;
bruce.

The bare butt shot is a bit disconcerting…not because of the bare butt but because of the wide angle distortion. Bare but more vertical like the first shot should solve that issue. Whether to crop or not depends on whether you're trying to show just yourself or the whole kitchen…and I do like the flour handprint on the panties as well.

And to be honest…if sexy is the goal then high heels because they accentuate legs and calves. I know they're not really the thing for baking normally…but then panties (or not) and an apron aren't really the regular thing for baking either.

Chocolate chip pecan oatmeal cookies please for me…or brownies, very chocolate and chewy ones.

And I forgot to mention - my favorite baked good IS a homemade sticky bun with a cup of coffee or glass of milk. Just out of the oven, melt-in-your-mouth.... Mmmmm.

Sablyn: I have been watching the comments, which are all good and constructively-intended. BUT - there were a couple of comments about the focal length or some other technical stuff. I am now going to compile those remarks along with my own observations. First, back the camera much further from you than in either of these shots. Then use the zoom to recover the image to how you want it. The result will then be a nice improvement over a pair of otherwise-wonderful shots! Your bravery to enter this area is wonderful :-) - JimT

Nice!
I have been pondering this for the last 48+ hours. I keep remembering my grandmother 's house. I have read and re-read this entire thread. My 2¢, DO NOT crop. Obviously this is an old house. And someone has done a beautiful job of re-modeling. The old high ceilings and modern appliances go well together and make for a really personal environment for the Cook, the Model, and the Photographer. It all comes together to tell a story. Cropping anything diminishes the story. I tried all the suggested crops. I tried cropping just the register out of the ceiling. Do NOT crop. You might try taking the image at different times of the day to alter the light entering the window. You might try a night time image with the lights on. Another idea might be to do a series of making, pouring, drinking coffee while looking out the window, or watching something bake/cook, or just blankly looking across the kitchen. This is much more than a photo of a naked body. It's a personal moment of your solo life, deep in thought and contemplation. Cropping takes all that personal feeling away.

There are a lot of pictures in this section that I do not bother to open based on the photographer. I will be looking forward to your next story posting.

Love both shots! #1 the most. Nothing like a southern girl barefoot in the kitchen! Your photography and your ability to set up poses like this are great!
