Light Impressions? For real?

Greetings from rainy Connecticut.
Years ago, I placed (and paid up front for) a large order for archival photo supplies (negative sleeves, markers, storage boxes, etc.) from Light Impressions. I had happily purchased from them for many years.
Long story short: The supplies never arrived, and I never got an answer to my many demands for a refund.
This morning, I received an email from Century Products advertising archival supplies from Light Impressions.
Does anyone here have recent experience with either Light Impressions or Century Products? Have you ordered and actually received things, recently?
(And yes, I may call them about that refund, if I can find the original order details.)
TIA,
John

Your credit card company will have a record of the purchase date. Maybe they can help you with a credit refund.

I believe credit card companies have a time limit on putting in a claim. I doubt it extends to years ago. But, you never know.

I had exactly the same problem with Light Impressions over 10 years ago that was never resolved after many, many attempts. I never risked ordering from them again.

A wise choice, I'd say. Thanks.

I believe Light Impressions changed owners and that's when the problems started.
Century Photo has been in business many years, but I have never purchased from them.

Check with your states Attorney General or consumer aid. A letter to Light Impressions, threating a letter to the AG may help.

Same thing happened to me about ten years ago. I recall that moved from Rochester to California and the business fell apart. I hounded them for almost a year and finally got my money back.

I never dealt with them again and I would not deal with anyone who bought their name.

I now get my supplies from Archival Methods.

Are they still in business? If they are at least a contact with the Better Business Bureau would be a good idea. And it's a good idea to check with them BEFORE ordering from anybody. You would be amazed at the number of complaints they get about businesses stil operating and flooding the airwaves tith commercials.
