So, I'm A Guitar Guy...
Eighteen months ago I began working with a luthier to create the guitar of my dreams. No item was left unexamined. Wood types, fretboard inlays, neck and body dimensions, fret sizes, tuners, electronics, everything. Yesterday, it arrived. I let it sit overnight to acclimate it, and then this morning opened it like a kid at Christmas.
It's perfect. For me, anyway. And that's all that matters.
I haven't had a chance to take its "official portrait" yet, but I just have to share.
Even the case is brand-new!

Beautiful photos of a beautiful instrument - Are you going to play it on you tube so I can hear it??
As a guitarist, I can really appreciate the beauty of that instrument. Fine photos, too.
Wishing you many years of enjoyment!

I don't play , the quality of this piece of art work just jumps out at you. A person wouldn't even have to play it, just sit and look at it. Very nice. You are lucky to have such a wonderful instrument.

Thank you. I feel like the YouTube question deserves one of those disingenuous political-type answers: Not knowingly.
But you deserve better, so here's what's behind my answer: I do play live almost every week. As I understand it, the performances are recorded and broadcast live on YouTube. Whether they persist there or not is not known to me. I've never bothered to check.

Yessir, it checks all the boxes for me. At the last minute, my luthier wrote me that it was a "fun little guitar to play." He then went on to say he thought it would benefit from a small sound port on the left shoulder of the bout. I wasn't sure, but he's never steered me wrong, so we went ahead and added it.
The pickup is a Bare Knuckles PAF, color-matched to the tuning hardware (Gotoh 510s 21:1). I've gone over this guitar with a fine tooth comb and the attention to detail is remarkable! Nothing isn't perfectly fit, incomplete, missing or otherwise flawed.
I'm keeping it!

Best of all it's a one off, and your own specs. I had a bicycle the same, probably no better than off the shelf but got to choose the tubing, lugs, fittings, my Initials in the serial number. I have guitar friends and they love it.
