We went to the Bay of Fundy and the wife thought it might be a good idea to take a walk out aways when the tide went out/down 28 feet. What we found was that after 100 yards from shore there was 6-8-inch-thick red clay muck. Well, we humans only got into it a little bit before calling it quits, but our springer spaniels couldn't get enough mud on them to make them and us happy. Our dogs are white and liver, but after the mud bath and getting washed down they turned a lovely light rust color. We later found out that the locals don't like trying to get the rusty stain out of their clothes and just throw their work clothes in a bath of that red mud to stain their clothes so they don't have to worry about trying to get the stains out completely. They have learned to live with it. The actually take new clothes and stain them with the mud and then sell the stained clothes to the tourists......BadDog2242

Photos made me smile. There is nothing that my two dogs can do or get into that upsets me. They are wonderful pure hearted animals. Love is the answer.

Well said! We totally agree.
Great looking pups, BadDog.
Puppy dogs just got to have fun. Water hose always solved the problem with mine since they loved to play with the water stream anyway

Mud, water, its all the same to springers, right?! Looks like an amazing place to visit(I had to look it up). Your great looking crew certainly enjoyed!

If you have dogs most things they do can make you smile. Sometimes my wife would disagree, especially when they leave muddy paw prints on her, our truck or the furniture. Love of their innocence helps you forgive and love them
