This is a rarity for me, since almost all my fird shots are taken through my off window. This one landed with a small flt of doves, and sat on the wall for several seconds, long enough for ne to air and fire.
Canon RP with Canon 100-400 F4.5 L/II and Canon T/C 2.0/III, shot at full 800mm. Light pp, significant cropping.
UPDATE. A s I was fine-tuning another image, I glanced out my off window, and looking up at me was a young female deer. No chance to get to a camera before she walked off.

Very good:
1. a quick grab shot
2. a 2x III extender
3. an EF to RF adapter
And it still looks very good. Maybe not tack sharp in the small details of the feathers but very good none-the-less.
