Overwrite?

My wife's D5100 occasionally will produce this result. I believe it's overwrite. Any suggestions as to what if anything can be done this. I hope I'm posting this in the appropriate forum.

Send this photo and information to Nikon support online. They may have seen this problem and can advise what to do.

Format your card or get a new one and see if that doesn't fix the problem.

Does she format her card after down load? Try formatting it 2-3 times after down load. Try a new card too.

That type of thing has been posted here before. Let us know how you do with this. Swapping cards is a good suggestion.

My thought also. Unless the photo before was still stuck in the processor when the next photo & next was taken. most likely the memory card.
