Greece Is Open For Travel (pt. 16) - Mykonos Revisited (continued)
(I'm not sure if there's a photo limit per post, so to keep things flowing when I have a few to share, I break them into separate posts. I hope this is acceptable).
Mykonos is Greece's "party island." During the summer months, vacationers from all over (mostly Europe) go on holiday to enjoy the weather, the food, the beaches, the parties, the parties, the parties... Mega-yachts are moored side-by-side and no one goes home before 4am.
Citizens even paint the spaces between paving stone white. Given this was Easter weekend, there was a bevy of activity sprucing up the town. Lots of white paint in use!
A common sight: A moped parked outside a home. On a "no vehicles" street.

White is the primary color and square is the building style. But they always seem to find a way to be unique

I am certainly enjoying these and wishing I was there again. It’s been around 45 years.
It’s certainly on my bucket list👍😊
