Nice.
That E-Type Jag. Simply one of the most beautiful car designs ever.
The E-Type is certainly easy on the eyes. Thanks for looking and the feedback bb.
The E-Type looks like a 1968 (triple SUs but no glass covers on headlights). I owned two ‘69s - roadster and 2+2 from ‘69 to about ‘83 and extensively autocrossed the roadster. The main reliability issues involved the electrical system. I upgraded the alternator and ignition system on the roadster and backdated to triple SUs but always kept spare parts for the fuel pump that had issues. The 2+2 was quite reliable despite being an automatic. PS Autocrossing was indeed stressful on the roadster - literally broke the crank, blew up a clutch, tore left rear locating arm from the body, broke the shifter on a downshift and jammed my fist into the dash, destroyed the spoked rims before shifting to solid rims, etc., etc. but also amassed about 200 first-third place trophies running mostly against Corvettes. Not abusing your car ever won anything.

Who can identify the Ford in frame 8?
Australians are banned from the quiz ;-)
You Aussies really know how to build some beautiful rides! I really liked the polished steel Pick-up in the 5th photo - any info on the make and model of the vehicle it was based on? Your next-door neighbors, the Kiwis, also share our love of cars and motorsports as well. I would love to see more photos from your shows "Downunder."
Could be in Southern California...even the e\weather fits! Great series. I can't recall ever seeing a 37? Chevy sedan pick-up in the USA, though.
Nice set of vehicles Thorny Devil.

No problem from me Ab I have seen the car before but at the moment I have mental blank. Please don't keep me in suspense for too long.

G'day FL. Thank you for your comments. The polished steel pick-up looks very 37 Chevy-ish to me. Some variations to the bonnet (hood) side panels may have been the restorer's choice. Please note three more photos of this beauty attached, two of which were taken during a car show last year.
