Originally laid in 1850, there has been several over the years to inscribe proof of their attendance.

I have a building across the street on Mission Road, San Antonio, Texas. It is the first city Electrical generating plant for San Antonio. Finished in 1901, it was started in 1894. It is amazing how well built the structure is. All the brick and materials were brought in and delivered from the railroad crossing just up the street. The same RR crossing/railhead that Teddy Rosevelt got his Rough Riders delivered horses, mules and all over several weeks.

The building has no graffiti on its surface, odd things is, the wind blows up and down this location of Mission Road, I find all manner of 'trash' in my front parking lot from this constant wind. The surface of the building has been smoothed by the fine sand and dirt that is blown across the facade.

Your photo is interesting and is the Perfection of Inprfections.

I built a fireplace front rased section with bricks from a field which were painted with ads many times. I left the paint on and layered it with clear urethane. Beautifully and interesting in its imperfect fragmented history.
