So, I already know that my "smartphone" is smarter than me, but I swear my coffee maker is quietly laughing at me every morning!
(please, I would encourage everyone to add to this list, it might brighten everyone's day)!
Ray.

The Smart phone? I was forced into by new technology. We do battle daily !!

I don't use a "coffee maker", I use the AeroPress, which is much better, and simpler.

I'm smarter than my smart phone, which makes dumb autocorrects frequently.

And I'm smart enough to not drink coffee.

Laughing or scheming? When Skynet goes online and the machines revolt, don't forget your coffeemaker'll see you first thing in the morning when you're still half asleep.

When I were young there was an expression, "dumb as a light bulb". I was in the hardware store today, and wouldn't you know it? Right next to me was a display full of "SMART LIGHT BULBS"!

Yeah and you also know you're getting old when you bend over to tie your shoe lace and then you start looking around to see if there is something else you can do while you're down there.

I no longer bend over to tie my shoelaces. If I can help it, I no longer bend over for anything. Getting back up is the problem. If I need to tie my shoelaces I lift my foot up onto a chair, where I can reach it more easily. Then the chair is there to stabilize me while I'm trying to get my foot down on the ground.

Hey I bought shoes with velcro and they don't need to be tied because once they're on that's it. I walked around a half mile track 6 or 8 times and kept having to stop and tie my shoes so I decided enough is enough and bought velcro.
