It goes on to say abortion rights will be up to each State to decide the legality of abortion for their State.

What a crock of BS!!!!

And you should have seen it coming, as per Trump's "promise" to stack the SCOTUS with abortion deniers.

An abortion denier is someone who denies another of a right. It did not mean denying the existence of abortions.

It makes good sense for states to have their own laws when there is a reasonable basis for them. What could possibly be reasonable for states to have different abortion laws? The same argument could apply to many stupid variances in laws that vary from state to state (eg, sale of alcohol, age for drinking, age for driving).

No it's not, an abortion denier is one who doesn't believe that abortions exists. Just as when someone says a person is a climate change denier. You are just making crap up. Where in the U.S. Constitution does it give rights to an abortion or prohibits it from a Federal standpoint? It doesn't therefore it should be a state law not a federal law.

Why would you post such a misleading title to a thread? Post the truth without embellishment, unless the bare truth is not sufficient to make your biased point.
The Supreme Court has not overturned Roe vs Wad. Not yet, anyway.

And most of those 2/3 live in states with very relaxed abortions laws, so they should be able to keep on killing unborn babies.

Because the USA was designed to be a union of independent states, not a single entity.

Republican congressmen are already planing on outlawing abortion nation wide. If you follow the supreme court if this decision stands they could outlaw contraption. Interracial marriage and Gay marriage and other laws.

And those that live in states with rigid abortion laws, and don’t have the means to travel, can always get back alley abortions.
Not a problem.

The leaked document maintains that there was no Constitutional basis for Roe v. Wade. Therefore SCOTUS had no Constitutional basis to declare abortion legal. Rather, if legal abortion is desired, it should be legislated into law:

"It is time to heed the Constitution and return the issue of abortion to the people’s elected representatives…This is what the Constitution and the rule of law demand."

"Abortion presents a profound moral question. The Constitution does not prohibit the citizens of each State from regulating or prohibiting abortion. Roe and Casey arrogated that authority. We now overrule those decisions and return that authority to the people and their elected representatives."

So it is up to Congress to make the law, or each state to make a law, not the purview of SCOTUS create the law by finding it in supposed "emanations and penumbras."
