You should know me better than that no one gets a pass concerning children.

For good measure

Matthew 18:6
New King James Version
Jesus Warns of Offenses

6 “But whoever causes one of these little ones who believe in Me to sin, it would be better for him if a millstone were hung around his neck, and he were drowned in the depth of the sea.

“But whoso shall offend one of these little ones which believe in me, it were better for him that a millstone were hanged about his neck, and that he were drowned in the depth of the sea.”

Still no mention of homosexuality, which was well known in the ancient world.

Read the Bible for yourself, that’s all I can say. Start with the Gospel of John if u are so inclined

I read the bible and that's one of the reasons I became an atheist.
Since then I've found other works of fiction much more interesting. Currently, I just finished Horsewoman by James Patterson. Much more entertaining and it has a message that surpasses anything I've ever read in the Bible.
BTW, finished that book right after I ate my bacon and egg breakfast while wearing a cotton/poly blend shirt, but before washing my windows on Sunday morning.
Guess I'll just have to go to hell.

Jesus is God for one He is not a guy. He was against homosexuality. But yes He offers salvation to all. To those who will follow Him and repent.

Noone needs to repent to follow god.

Can you point me to exactly what Jesus said about homosexuality? and any of the others issues you mentioned?

Jesus affirmed the Law during His ministry and Leviticus 18:22 said it was an abomination, to site one passage.

Only if Christian values include hating others, supressing free thought and supporting authoritarianism.
The worst thing that has happened to this country begins with embracing Evangelicals and allowing them to interfere with government.

So tell me, which one of ten commandments would you do away with in your effort to make this a better world?

You shall have no other gods before Me.
You shall make no idols.
You shall not take the name of the Lord your God in vain.
Keep the Sabbath day holy.
Honor your father and your mother.
You shall not murder.
You shall not commit adultery.
You shall not steal.
You shall not bear false witness against your neighbor.
You shall not covet.

This forum attracts those who don't follow the 9th Commandment.

Give me chapter and verse. And let me know what parts of Leviticus you do not follow and why you choose to cite only the parts you like.

I didn’t take a vow, all I did was surrender myself to Jesus.
For me would I vote for a candidate/party that supports abortion
allows encourages young children to get sexual reassignment, gay marriage.
I couldn’t do it. For example I have a cousin who is gay and getting married.
She invited me to her wedding I declined. I love her she is family but attending the
wedding would be condoning that life style
In my humble opinion politics is theatrics, there may be some who are sincere
but at the end of the day they have their agenda.

Matthew 5. Actually, what I cited was not a Levitical Law though contained in Leviticus. It was a proclamation that retains its value as the Truth of God. As for following the Law, that is a subject that is dealt with in the New Testament. Jesus brought a higher ethic than the Law. In Romans, Paul, himself a Jew, pointed out that the Law in itself was a teacher which showed the impossibility of living without sin and the need for a covering for sin, hence the constant blood sacrifices that were required in Leviticus. Jesus is the final blood sacrifice, the fulfillment of the Law.

You have some circular logic/rationalization going there. Jesus both affirms the law and exempts yuo from it?

Still looking for the place where Jesus spoke specially about homosexuality. You can't find it because it's not there. What you are trying to pass off as the teachings of Christ is only your own interpretation and attempts to rationalize your belief with what is actually in the NT.

BTW, I don't really care how homophobic you are. Just don't try to hide your homophobia behind the teachings of Christ. That might work in the confines of your own congregation but out here i the real world, it does not fly.
