Of course he could not be bothered to enforce laws already on the books...

What laws are there covering the ghost gun trade?

Hint, any laws against ghost guns and ghost gun parts, as well as universal background checks which would have been proposed have been opposed by the NRA.

The very same NRA which funneled illegal Russian money into GOP candidates campaign funds!

The very same NRA which allowed high level officials to use NRA $64 Million in dues to fund their lavish lifestyles, and ended up under investigation and in court in New York.

The very same NRA which tried to use bankruptcy to dissolve their charter in NY, to avoid legal charges and dissolution of the organization by the NY AG.

You have to give the Democrat writers credit for inventing and coming up with these new marketing terms, "Ghost guns" and "Putin's price hike". Shows the value of a Harvard or Yale education.

What is a ghost?

Something without a definitive form.

What is a ghost gun?

A gun without a single serial number on any of its components.

What would you call a gun without any distinctive markings or a serial number?

Is that such a hardship?

If as a country, we want to make it harder for criminals to illegally obtain guns, we've got to start with cutting off their access to components which makes it easy for them to commit their crimes.

Has anyone ever been killed by a "Ghost Gun"? It takes a bit of skill to finish a lower and put together a semi-automatic rifle. Not your typical street thug skill set, not your typical street thug weapon of choice.

Teens all across the country are buying, assembling ghost gun kits, and selling them.

They've become gun runners.

Do a simple search. "Teen buys and assembles ghost guns"

It's an eye opener how many articles there are out there.

Yes, it is a great inconvenience if I am unable to obtain replacement parts easily, especially if I am required to go through a FFL just to obtain parts. This also would require filling forms.
How would you like it if you needed to go through a federally licensed person to obtain parts for your car?

You could report his concerning antics to the FBI, and also to state leadership. Send a copy to the local police. Do so in writing in a journal with time and date stamping.

Your contemporaneous notes may prove useful at some point. The authorities may put this individual on a watch list if his conduct rises to a potential threat to the safety of the community.

Please note that I offer my suggestions not as an abridgment of his Second Amendment gun rights, but as a safety matter.

Yeah, I have a neighbor who is a total loser and unstable that has a small arsenal that he terrorizes the neighborhood with as we live in an unrestricted area and you can shoot guns 24/7 on your own property. This AH lives in a camper situated in a neighborhood of $500K homes, he has posted No Trespass signs all over his property and when he is having a bad day or the wind blows one of his signs off a tree, or just gets pissed off at a neighbor he runs around shooting off his weapons, day and night.... Nothing can be done to stop him, not in this part of the state. I have never known anyone that I thought was really dangerous until this 25 year old's father wanted him out of his life and sent him up here to live in that camper on his father's lot.

https://www.rollingstone.com/politics/politics-news/nra-chief-lapierre-illicit-gains-report-1096433/

"The money returned by La Pierre reportedly covers personal travel expenses from 2015 to 2019 that were billed to the gun group. The documents do not detail the specific trips in question nor when LaPierre paid the money back. Despite the eye-popping six-figure sum, a spokesperson for the NRA made clear that LaPierre’s overall travel budget was much larger, and insisted “the vast majority of Mr. LaPierre’s travel was undertaken in strict compliance with NRA policy.”

The whole point is to increase the difficulty for criminals to obtain guns.

If you find it a hardship or an inconvenience to replace parts in your guns, that's just something which you're going to have to get used to.

The rest of the country wants to get illegal guns out of the hands of criminals!

Are forms too much of a hardship for you to fill out to slow or stop the spread illegal guns in the United States?

Many states are trying to restrict auto repairs to licensed auto dealerships, which amounts to the same thing. Personally, I prefer my local mechanic to the licensed dealership, because they're a whole lot less expensive, and they don't try to get me to pay for unnecessary work.

But you get the point.

Be thankful that you live in a country where legally purchased guns are legal to own.

If you think that Biden's illegal EO is going to make it more difficult for criminals to get illegal guns, you are seriously deluded. All this does is make it difficult to obtain replacement parts, and potentially set up a registry.
