ID Help Needed

I can't seem to find this bird in any of my guides. I have a feeling it's a juvie of some kind. It's about the size of an Ibis, perhaps a little smaller. Shot in southern Louisiana at Lacassine Nat Wildlife Refuge.

It took a bit of research but I finally determined that it is a Limpkin. Nice pictures. Definitely a tropical species.

It is definitely a Limpkin. Not too long ago it was only in Florida, Caribbean islands and South America. Their diet is shellfish. Nice they are expanding their territory.

Thanks. I do believe that's it. We are not in its range but they do stray widely from their normal habitats.
