Interesting--me, too. I took this on the 29th of March.
Thanks for taking a look.
Very nice work, John! You are more than just a pretty barn-shooter.
Just curious --while asking a question I have my own "answers to" (all of which are conditional)--, but how long did it take you before you started ***to see and start shooting*** what's what (content, light, composition) in a place diametrically opposed to what you're 'used' to?
Were your first handful of shots maybe okay-ish, but were more a matter of what 'others' might expect? Then, over time (and how much?), was/were getting what the land, the place, and the conditions required a matter more important than any others, when they started sink in such that you could shoot the ones that mattered?
There's no right answer and there's no wrong answer, but I'm curious all the same.
Good shot.
No barn but a really nice image!

Thanks, Mike. There’s really a landscape photographer hiding behind all those barns.
