Just got back to my post and new catching up on replies:

mvetrano2, thanks for viewing and your nice comment. I do like to travel.

Cotondog, I appreciate your compliment. I’m glad you liked them.

Jay, thank you very much! I haven’t changed a lot over the years—got a mustache in 1987 and added a beard in 2006. Both have turned white now.

Jimmy T, you’re welcome—I enjoy sharing. I upload most of my photos to Flickr so that I can go back and reminisce. Others can see them there, too, of course. I post selected ones to UHH and enjoy the interaction with the others on the site.

ecobin, I appreciate your nice comment. I’m pleased you found them enjoyable.

bobbyjohn, yes, they are. Thank you for viewing them. I have done 4 tours with John Hall’s Alaska—3 to Alaska and 1 to Australia and New Zealand. I am doing another of theirs to National Parks this September. They are a great travel provider and I highly recommend them. My Alaska tours were in 2007, 2014, and 2021. Our Driver/Guide on the 2007 trip was named Colleen, and she was excellent. I kept bugging her about where we were so I could label my photos, so after I got home she sent me an ad for an I-gotU GPS logger. I bought one and now use several of them. In 2014 our Driver was named Caryn, and we were accompanied by Elizabeth Hall. The Driver/Guide in 2021 was named Mark. He was great—knowledgeable and very helpful (I and several others were a little physically challenged and he took good care of us). The 2017 tour of Australia and New Zealand didn’t really have a set Guide—John and Elizabeth were along, but mostly we had local Guides. Nice photo of yours--is that you or your significant other?

joecichjr, thanks for coming! I have enjoyed all my travels.

jederick, thank you very much! You are too kind, because I have, indeed, aged. I confess that I did not know of Robert Service prior to my visits to Alaska, and had never read “The Cremation of Sam BcGee” before that day.

reguli, thanks for the nice comment! I appreciate it. I have been to some beautiful places, for which I’m grateful. I am also not addicted to Selfies, but have had a few taken.

Abo, I haven’t been considered “pretty” since I became an adult, and it hasn’t improved over the years. Thank you for viewing my pics.

Blair, I have, indeed, traveled a lot, but “everywhere” is a big place and I’ve not achieved that. Thanks for coming.

Chiromann8, I appreciate your comment and I don’t worry a lot about being narcissistic. My concern was that posting Selfies might seem too self-centered and not of general interest. Thanks a lot. I’m glad you enjoyed them.

DaveJ, thank you so much for the nice comment. I know that song, but I’ve not achieved it yet.

rdgreenwood, that’s what the poem says, but I don’t know the answer. Thank you for viewing my pictures.

Very nice. You are pretty lucky, they are fairly well composed and focused!

Thank you very much. Yes, considering that someone else was using my camera to take the shot, most of them came out pretty well. Of course, the "Auto" setting of the camera did help. I'd have framed some of them differently, and put myself a little more to one side, but I wasn't taking the picture. I did try to find someone who at least had a decent camera of their own.

If I hadn't already had so many posted, I'd have included this one, of me at Multnomah Falls: DEC_3588.jpg by David Casteel, on Flickr

Shameless Selfies

Disclaimer: I am not addicted to “Selfies”, I don’t have a “Smart Phone” and don’t use my flip-phone to take pictures. If I want a photo of myself at some location I have to get someone else to use my DSLR to take it, and I very seldom deign to do that. Nevertheless, over the years it appears that I’ve accumulated several dozen photos of just myself at some venue I visited. I have selected a few of them to post in this Set.

Wow! Six thumbs up! Most I've ever seen. Thank you very much. As a record of my travels, it's just a small start.

As others have mentioned, you certainly have been all over the world. I like people pictures showing where we've been, what we've done, and who we did it with.
