A surprising and stunning NP in Colorado, these dunes, some over 700 ft. tall, are backed up agains the San Juan Mountain range (14,000 footer's). Here are a few shots. Yes, in #4 & 5 those are people!

Excellent photos of the dunes. The lighting really helps. I believe these are in the Sangre de Cristo range. The San Juan's are farther west.
