These are really good. And I love the last one! I've done polo and found it difficult to be in the right place at the right time. You obviously managed that.
Great photographs of a sport that obviously requires a lot of skill to play. The tools to play it would seem about as ill suited for the game as are those to play golf.
I love polo matches. The athleticism of the horses and riders is amazing. I especially like #8. A beautiful intimate study that many photographers overlook in favor of action.
Thanks. I found myself always looking around for exactly that. Shots others may miss. Appreciate your comment.
Nicely done! Several shots confirm what Edison demonstrated after considerable effort -- that horses do indeed have all 4 hooves off the ground simultaneously when in full stride.
Wouldn't Edison have found today's camera technology amazing? Thanks for checking them out!
Outstanding!! You don't need no stinkin' mirrorless camera to improve on these!! Every one of them should be mounted on a wall!!!
Thanks for looking and commenting. For sports, bif, etc, I will keep my D-500 for a lot of reasons including a crop sensor. My wife and I travel a lot so I know I'll appreciate the light weight of the Z. I think I've read every revue. Anxious to try it. Appreciate the positive comments. It means a lot from another photographer.

Thanks. They gave the media about 4 locations to shoot from. You were able to move between chukkers and half time. I knew where the sun would be so picked a location based on that. I moved twice. I was impressed being so close to the field. Hearing those ponies fly by me was quite an experience. As a photographer, I'm always looking to expand my repertoire of venues. This was a first, I learned a lot and look forward to going back. Thanks again for looking at them and positive comment.
