At the Shire Horse show at the weekend I took this shot. Only when at home and editing did I realize that I had captured HRH Countess of Wesex. I wasnt aware she was there, must have missed the anouncment on the tanoy. So not cut out to be an ace reported so back to the day job, well pottering about doing nothing

So Tanoy is still building loudspeakers (and radios?), or is it British slang for radio?

What a great shot and it's not about the Lady. Ah the pageantry of the British. I think it comes from being a society old enough to establish and revere traditions.

Not to sure but I call it a tanoy when its brocasting information at an event, even when I dont hear it
