Often placed after an asterisk (*) at the bottom of car ads, YMMV means, "Your Mileage May Vary." In the popular vernacular, it means that your experience with the same circumstances may be entirely different from others'.

I hate, hate, hate, the phrase "at this point in time". What is wrong with saying "at this time". Time is a thing that progresses with absolute uniformity, and thus does not have "points".

Exactly. The only time "at this point in time" makes sense is when you are editing audio or video. Then you can talk about a physical point on magnetic tape, or a marker point or time code value on a virtual timeline. "At this point in time, the narration starts. Punch in here to do your overdub."
