I went to the ATM today, and another person got there before me. He was a senior citizen, and I feared he might have trouble with the technology, and I would be waiting for a while. As I waited, I had an epiphany. Hello, Buckwheat..You're 75 years old, probably older than that "old man"!

We all age differently. I was surprised to discover that the nice woman I talked to at the drug store was a couple of years younger than I am. She had gray hair, was bent over and due to bad knees had a terrible time being able to walk. I still have most off my own hair color (thanks to my dad's side of the family) and don't have a problem getting around.

We should feel blessed that we do better than some that are younger than we are.

You know you're old when you go to your class reunion and a couple people are wearing products from the company you work for. The product? Those personal help buttons, as in "I've fallen and I can't get up". That company wasn't us, but the same business.

I am thinking of getting a T-shirt that says, "All men are created equal, but the best ones ride motorcycles in their seventies."

I will be 80 in about a month and have been riding one motorcycle or another since 1970 up until a few months ago when I sold my last one.

I'm 84, will be 85 in the fall and I still ride horses. I walk up straight with TWO bad knees and get around just fine. I have very few wrinkles which baffles me because my mother was the most wrinkled woman at 65 that I ever saw. I met a lady yesterday that I thought might be a little older than me. When she told me she was only 69, I couldn't believe my eyes. Two years ago, I watched a friend ride his horses in 6 classes at the World Grand Championships and win ALL 6, at almost 96 years old. I'll be happy if I am still here and can still ride at 90.

Has it ever puzzled you as to why there is braille on the ATM buttons in the drive through?
