Some discussions recently about working with more "mature" models. I typically don't have a lot of work in that area, but looking through my stuff, I have worked with two models in their mid-40's, which I guess I would put in the "mature" category vs the typical 18-30 year olds. Anyway, I will post a few of the shots and see what people think. First up is Jen, she was about 44 at the time of this shoot.

She's a lovely lady. I think there's great potential, but I don't really love the pose, especially the nose view.

Yea, I can't disagree, the pose is not ideal and I figured I would hear that critique. I don't have a huge number of images to pick from and I like this one mostly for the color and the slate background. I will keep looking for a shot of Jen with a better pose and bring it here. Thanks for the reply.

It has a rather dark moody appeal. So yes, a good shot.

If the objective is to critique the 40's model, she is extremely attractive. She looks like a perfect model.

Interesting shot. Nice model. Are you sure you want purple water? It adds an unreality to the scene.

The dark water and background has a lot of potential, as does her face. Something was lost in the angle you approached her from. But still nice!

Very attractive lady and excellent photo technique but the pose itself looks like the deceased body in a crime drama, not the most flattering pose.

Were you going for a end of life theme? Good composition
