When I was a young lad there was a family in the neighborhood that owned their own business and had some bucks. They bought their teenage son a '57 T-bird in black with a removable hardtop. He was the envy of all of the youngsters.
Fast forward 6 years and I guess he tired of that car because they bought him a '63 Corvette split window coupe...also black. The envy continued.

I much prefer the 55 for looks, although the 57 had some engine improvements. To each their own.

That's remarkable, as one of my high school friends had exactly the same cars in that order. We ran the snot out of them.

I had a '55 and while I think that the '57 body was the prettiest of the three years, I preferred the hard top without the port holes. Keep the photos coming, I enjoy every one.
