My granddaughter was entertaining us the other night. Thought you might enjoy her antics.

What a little beauty! It's amazing how much she does look like Grandma. These are great shots and even when she grows up she will be so pleased to see them. I love how she laughs so hard she scrunches up her eyes.

From Manistique in the Upper Peninsula, just at the top of Lake Michigan. Beautiful here!

What I like about them is the fact that even though you know they aren't "candid" shots, they look candid because of her expressions.

Well, she's 20 months old and very hard to get a good picture of her. She hardly ever sits still! Now she's into the stage where she scrunches up her face when you tell her to smile! So I caught her just acting up in these pics, the more we laughed, the more she performed!

Those are rare moments and so great to get photos of. I've often found that my favorite photos are the ones where the subjects let their guard down and ham up for the camera. My absolute favorite photo of my two sons is one where I got them laughing and cutting up when I had my camera out and they were teenagers then.
