Looking for advice on PP for the iPad.

I have zero experience when it comes to post production work. My wife and I are considering getting a "Mac" (the current computer is soon to be relegated "boat anchor"), but for the time being and because of convenience, what little time I have is spent on the iPad 3. So until I'm ready to tackle the real McCoy on a Mac ( learning curves don't scare me)...
...is there anybody out there that can recommend an editing application for iPad that has the most bang for the buck. There's a lot of them out there (some goofy) but right now my attention is drawn to "Filterstorm Pro". Can anyone shed some experiential light on this subject?

Have you looked "PS Touch" from Adobe? That is what I use and enjoy. Either $4.99 or $9.99. Go to www.adobe,com then to their TV educational. Look for the.videos on PS touch. You will see features and if you would use them. If you do then get Lightroom for Mac

I second the motion for snapseed from Nik software. Not very expensive and easy to use. If you have an iPhone it will work with that as well.

Played with snap seed. Liked it. "PS Touch" gives more and more smaller area focused. Longer learning curve. Easy learn and lead you to using Adobe software (Lightroom, Elements, Bridge, etc) on your Mac with most features.

I've been hovering here at UHH for the most part and learning from the sidelines, but now have asked for advice. I just want to thank the seven of you for reading and respondingÂ…thank you very much, it was helpful.

Hopefully in time I will be able contribute in the same way to someone in return. Larry
