very well done, background and model.
Wonderful photo! A serene model before turbulent waters!
Did you try variations on the theme, such as a slower shutter? I do like silky water. I’ve never tried nudes outside, never have had the privacy. I can imagine lookouts posted & an assistant standing by to quickly cover the model! 🤭🤫
In any case, I’m sure that you & your model had fun, and that’s how we get our best work.
Keep having fun!
Cheers!
Love this - how hard was it to steal this moment. I imagine privacy was at a premium.
No, just an old thread I think.
great shot, how did you get the privacy to do the shoot? how cold was it?
I’ll reply to the question of privacy; it’s not difficult to find a bit of private space in the outside world. How sad it would be to shoot only indoors with a nude model. I scout for spots whenever I’m out. I network with other shooters and I take chances. I’ve shot on city streets and in city fountains, in abandoned buildings and in open for business museums. Firstly, your model has to have the right attitude, and you must exude extreme confidence even if you’re not so sure. Be willing to pay any fines for the model if it should come to that.
I’ve never been in any trouble because of public nudity, and I’ve shot many, many times out in public. Pick your spots and your times carefully if you’re worried.
The spot this photo was taken in should be easy to find nearly anywhere. There are literally thousands of state and national parks for your use. The greater danger is probably from rattlesnakes, but those too, are pretty rare.
Look around you, it’s a huge and beautiful world.
Oh, and I love this photo. It is evidence of the photographer’s due diligence.
Great shot captures that free spirit look.
Fantastic photo. Lovely model, perfectly posed to show her lithe figure.
