Picked up a D90 today. It is in very nice cosmetic condition. Shutter count 8615.

It auto focuses fine with a few different lenses, BUT all the pics are coming out pink.

What if anything will fix this?

Check your white balance?

If it is new to you, you have no settings to save. Try a 2 button reset to factory specs. Link https://dslrpro.net/cameras/nikon-d90/nikon-d90-settings/nikon-d90-two-button-reset/

What happens if you set to monochrome?

Perhaps that is why the camera was dumped?
If the reset fails it looks like a trip to a repair shop is warranted to check it out.

The last time I saw such pink pictures, it was because the camera has got some "chirurgical opé" to make it efficient for infra red photography. I don't know exactly what had been removed inside the camera... I believe it was a filter. That said, I have been told it is not easy to get the removed filter back inside the camera.
Perhaps Your issue is connected with an attempt to IR/photo?

Monochrome didn't help

No further ideas other than to dig out the manual and fool with color settings to see if you can get something to work. One last idea to try, shut the camera off and take out the battery for 12-15 minutes. Replace switch on and see if it does any thing. Best of luck with it!

I suggest that you download the pictures to your computer and see how they look when displayed there. If they appear normal on your computer, then the problem is in the rear screen or playback system of your camera. If they appear the same as on the camera, it could be a faulty cable or connector in the camera, a bad sensor, or any of a number of other problems.

Do the menus display normally? It looks like the Green information is completely missing. If you can get the color histograms to display, you may or may not be able to verify whether green is missing from the images as recorded...

Yup. This is when that is appropriate. No reason to prod, poke, and ponder until you’ve done that.

It does have that same look. Buying an IR camera by accident does seem a bit unusual but weirder stuff has happened.

I have a professionally done Digital IR conversion - not Nikon, but the shots have never looked this way. Anything is possible, I suppose.
