Why??, why do people take the lowest bid on a landscape planting job? Wish I knew the answer. To those who are interested in my subject here, can you see what I'm talking about in this photo? malvin

After a few years as a contracting agent, I figure low bid gives one about a 50/50 chance of a decent to great job, unless "cost plus" incentive fee/performance fee type contracts, they usually yield better results. Paying all up front is also a bad idea........
