There's a lot of space up here in NW Montana, sometimes dotted with an old homestead or two. And yes, it gets cold around these parts! 
These old buildings certainly have a story... but it's probably one only the wind and the snow can hear...

Wonderful images. I always think of the hardy souls who built and lived in these places. I doubt if anyone in this day and age would have the fortitude to do so!
