I think in the last photo that long white unbroken streak is the ISS...International Space Station.

In the second photo that long continuous white line appears to be the ISS...International Space Station.

You are making great use of the new lens. In the first picture there are two curved lines on the left side of the photo. Are they the beginning of star trails?

Those lines are reflections from the bright light on the hangar

I recently stepped out and purchased a Nikkor 14-24/2.8 zoom. Last week, we had one night that wasn't overcast, and I went out to the airport to try it out. I am pleased with the results, and look forward to capturing more of the night sky.

Nice shots.

Very nice. You will love the f/2.8 lens. I use a Nikkor 17-35mm f/2.8 for night shots and landscapes. The other lens for night street shots is my Nikkor 35mm f/1.4. I just purchased a Z 35mm f/1.8 S for my Z6ii that will be delivered Monday. Enjoy you new lens!
