Several years ago, I had the name and web address for a German camera repair and sales company that specialized in sales of vintage cameras. They receive the cameras, access and perform any repairs necessary and then put the equipment up for international auction.
Does anyone have their contact information?
I have a WWII Kodak EKTRA with 2 lens, 2 interchangeable backs and other accessories. I am thinking about putting them up for sale. I had previously researched this company on Amazon and the German company sales were receiving 2 to 3 times the bids seen on Amazon. Serious collectors!
Found IT!
Westlich Photographica Auction, Vienna, Austria. Sorry I was close when I said Germany.
The name is now Leitz Photographica Auction. you can do a search and see the results of their past auctions, especially if you want to see value of old vintage Leicas.
Another organization based in Finland,
https://camerarescue.org/, does a similar thing. They don’t appear to be focused specifically on high value collectibles, however.
Edit: on revisiting their website, their repair shops around the world listing is inoperative. The organization may be inactive or defunct.
