She is beautiful. The pose is erotic. The lighting looks to be front-on from slightly below. There might have been other lighting choices that would be more flattering, and might have resulted in more sculpturing of her beautiful curves.

While I was like the shot in general terms, the lighting is not really perfect. Firstly it’s too strong. You should have stopped down one or two stops I think. Ya, and maybe had your main light a bit higher and your fill coming from another direction. And the light spill on the background is a little too much.

Erotic, yes...But in a good way. You did good for this image. I also agree, the lighting is a little to hot, but otherwise, a good shot.

The juxtaposition, contrasting effect, of the lovely lady and the well-used ladder is mildly dissonant, a harmonically unresolved. Mildly because she is the attention grabber, but had the ladder been hidden with fabric the nature of the photo would not be as mind rattling and memorable.

I like this on the basis of pose and model. However, there is something about the lighting that just doesn't make it.

Thanks all for the feedback. I think the main problem with the lighting is that I did not adjust it after we moved from shooting down low near/on the ground to bringing in the ladder and the model climbing up several rungs, so good call on my not catching that during the shoot. And she is a bit hot, I can bring the exposure down. When I converted it I was playing around with the exposure and I think I liked how the blue background looked at this exposure, which brought the skins up too high. I sorta thought it would just give it a sorta harsh look and make her pop a bit off the background, but I can see how it was a tad too much.
