A coyote with a carp for lunch. Fascinating. Thanks for sharing.

Superb set. First I ever saw of coyote fishing.
Last spring the Bosque del Apache drained one of the ponds that typically held water birds. As I approached I saw that the usually full pond had been drained down to a small puddle. This coyote was slowly stalking fish in the water, probably a few inches from his nose. He walked around a bit, likely considering which fish he wanted to take, then slowly lowered his head into the water and came up with his prize. I can't believe I missed the head in the watershed, but I was frantically working the camera to get a shot and didn't make it... Only a coyote would look this spiffy over a carp! Probably a traditional Catholic coyote on a Friday...
Thanks for all the great replies!
